Getting into the clinic
- Step-free entry from the footpath on the Glynburn Road side, with no stairs to our door.
- Two car parks on site: an undercroft car park with a lift to our level (1.8 m height limit) and a ground-level car park with accessible bays. Both are busiest before 10:30am.
- Wide doorways suitable for wheelchairs, walkers and portable oxygen.
- If you're not sure you can manage the walk in, call us before you come on (08) 8364 3706 and we'll talk you through the easiest way in, or arrange a home visit instead.
During your appointment
- Bring your oxygen. We have room for cylinders and concentrators, and we monitor your oxygen levels during exercise.
- Bring someone with you. Family members, carers and support people are welcome in appointments and in the gym.
- Tell us what you need. If you need to sit down often, need extra time, or find it hard to hear or see, tell us and we'll work around it.
- Assistance animals are welcome.
- Interpreters: if English isn't your first language, you're welcome to bring a family member to interpret, or ask us to arrange help.
This website
We've built this site to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA, the standard most Australian health services aim for. In practice that means:
- Text and background colours are tested for contrast, in both light and dark mode.
- Body text is at least 17px on phones, and the whole site can be zoomed without breaking.
- Every button and link is large enough to tap comfortably.
- You can move through the site with a keyboard, and headings are structured so screen readers can navigate it.
- All animation stops if your device has "reduce motion" turned on.
- Images have text descriptions, and our PDFs can be filled in on screen rather than printed.
If something on this site doesn't work for you, please tell us. We'd rather hear about it than have you struggle, and we'll read anything out to you over the phone.
